I have been interested in martial arts and Eastern philosophy from an early age.  Growing up in Toronto, Canada, a city with a large Asian population, afforded me the chance to study under teachers with a wealth of experience in Chinese martial arts.  I first became interested in Kung-Fu and later developed an interest in Tai Chi and Qi-Gong as well.  I studied Tai Chi and Qi-Gong with Si Fu Philip Mo, professor of Tai Chi at the Hart house at the University of Toronto, and it was with him that I began to learn about medical Qi-Gong and the foundations of Traditional Chinese Medical theory.

Both of my parents have lived through cancer.  Accompanying them in their struggle made me realize that I wanted to go into a healing profession.  After researching different healing arts, I found that Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) best coincides with my vision of the human being and the way we interact with our environment.  This concept of holistic medicine, treating the entirety of the individual, permits a healing process that is both dynamic and extremely efficient.

Upon my arrival in Switzerland I began my formal schooling in TCM at the Shao Yang Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where I have participated in several workshops and seminars.  I am constantly renewing and enlarging my understanding of TCM by pursuing continuing education programs and workshops for practitioners of acupuncture, particularly in the areas of Japanese, Korean, and 5-Element acupuncture.

In addition to my acupuncture training, I have studied Tai Chi and Qi-Gong.  With more than four years of study under Prof. Zhi-Zhong Wang, from the University of Beijing, and Prof. Mingchun Mao, from Shanxi University in China, I have acquired the experience and knowledge both to teach these disciplines and to use them to help patients heal themselves.

My goal has always been to open a clinic where I can use my training in acupuncture, as well as my studies of Tai Chi and Qi-Gong, to help heal people.  Opening my clinic in Lausanne makes this dream a reality.

I am honoured to be so warmly welcomed in Lausanne.  It is a pleasure to work with individuals who are interested in their health and appreciate what acupuncture has to offer.
